22. Feel out of control

No one wants to feel out of control. Having large debts from multiple creditors and finding yourself with adverse credit is a very stressful situation to be in. This nervousness can actually make you ill.

You may already have low confidence and feel isolated by your debt. This could be accompanied by sleep loss, short temper, irritation, high blood pressure, nausea and headaches. If you could put all your debts into one basket in a process called debt consolidation, your health may improve.

Products such as a bad credit loan, a bad credit mortgage or an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) are there to help you. Taking control through debt consolidation is very empowering. You need to understand where you are in relation to how much debt you have, how much do you have coming in (for example income from work) and how much going out (for example fuel bills).

A bad credit mortgage is tailored for those people have been turned down in the past. A bad credit loan allows you to amalgamate your debts and improve your credit rating as time goes on. An Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) allows you to orderly pay off large debts and write off any remaining ones at the end of the agreement. Turning around adverse credit is hard but not impossible.

Prioritise paying off your debts so you can get out of the adverse credit trap. A debt consolidation tool such as a bad credit loan can help you manage your debt and is flexible enough to allow you to lower your payments and release extra money when you need it. An Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) can help you out of large debts and legally keeps your creditors away at arms length. A bad credit mortgage can help you keep on the property ladder.
